🇳🇵 Where to Hear Nepali Music in Sydney
If you are looking for a Nepali club in Sydney — or a Nepalese club night, same thing — Pardesi Swaggers plays Nepali music every week across two nights. Bollywood Friday is at Arcade Bar & Club, 16 O’Connell Street in Sydney CBD, every Friday from 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM. Desi Saturday runs every Saturday at a brand new venue we will be announcing shortly. Both nights are 18+.
Sydney’s Nepali community has grown quickly, but its nightlife has not kept pace. Most nights out mean hearing one Nepali track dropped as a courtesy somewhere after midnight, if at all. We built ours differently: Nepali pop and classics are part of the actual set, played on a proper club sound system, to a room that knows the words.
Guests travel in from right across Sydney for it. Alongside the Nepali and Nepalese crowd you will find the wider Desi room — Indian, Punjabi, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi and plenty of people with no South Asian background at all. If you are new to the city and looking for the Nepali crowd on a weekend, this is the reliable answer.

Being honest about the mix matters more than overselling it. Nepali music is a real part of the set every week — not a token track — but it sits inside a broader Desi night rather than running solo for six hours.
